We have been crazy busy. We went to visit my parents at the farm, training for the half marathon (we are at 16 km now on our long Sunday runs), I was in a car accident ( I am good, the car is not so good) and it's almost Easter.
Two weeks ago, a lady ran a stop sign, went through two lanes of traffic and broadsided me on the driver's side. It happened so fast, I had no time to react. At the end of the whole thing, my car had smashed through a tree. Not a giant oak or anything but a substantial tree. Ha ha. I was sore from the airbags (and a little shaken up) but all in all, I am OK. The car was a total write off so that is unfortunate. I had just paid it off and a set of brand new all-season tires are sitting on my deck. I guess the main thing is, I am OK and the car can be replaced.
I spent the better part of last week, cheering myself up, by test driving some new ones. I test drove the new Honda Accord coupe, the new Mazda3 Sport and the Ford Focus ST. My favorite is the Focus ST! Its the cutest little sporty car and I am getting it in sexy black. I am so excited, I pick it up tomorrow!!!!
I am still puttering away on the Mom & Me quilt. I am quilting the border right now and hopefully I can start the binding by the end of the weekend.
